Massey Vets is New Zealand’s only veterinary teaching hospital. Students work alongside staff, treating a range of animals from cats and dogs to horses and livestock.

The existing roof, a nearly flat structure made of lightweight aluminum profiles, had persistent leakage issues. To address these problems, the roof was dismantled down to the sarking and replaced with a Recover Ultratherm Xtreme system featuring a FiberTite membrane overlay.

Since the original pitch was extremely low (between 0.3 and 0.5°), proper water drainage was achieved by incorporating RL Tapered PIR Board at 1°, eliminating the need for structural modifications.
