Canterbury Linen Services Limited is the largest provider of linen rental services in the South Island. Based in Christchurch and processing over 150 tonnes of linen each week, they deliver Linen to Te Whatu Ora Hospitals and commercial customers throughout the Canterbury and West Coast regions.
Operating as a large commercial laundry facility, the buildings internal environment is often close to 100% humidity. When combined with low external winter temperatures this creates a high risk of internal condensation. These risks were managed with the design and installation of the FiberthermX system which has effectively managed internal and interstitial condensation. CLS staff have commented that the FiberthermX roof provides a much more comfortable working environment, particularly in summer where previously there were occasions where, due to high internal temperatures, it was not possible to continue working.
